Snake³ (SnakeCubed) is a weird and chill 3D take on the classic Snake game. Slither through liminal cube landscapes, gobble up glowing food, avoid hazards, and test your skills in both single-player and multiplayer (beta) modes.

Features:

- 3D Snake gameplay with segment physics

- Magnetic Pull and Golden Rush power-ups

- AI snakes (optional and experimental)

- Chill synth/lofi audio and eerie frozen world backdrops

- Single-player + experimental 2-player multiplayer

- Joystick + keyboard support

Best played on desktop. Mobile version is experimental.

Built with love in pure JavaScript and Three.js — no Unity, no engines, just vibes.

In development: expect updates, polish, and new modes soon.

Some music and textures (like the duck model) were sourced from royalty-free libraries. All assets are used under proper licensing.

Core gameplay, design, and code were developed by hand.

ChatGPT was used to assist with copywriting, idea generation, and polishing some logic — but the project was fully built and directed by me.

Nice concept. Its very hard to notice how far you are from wall. Maybe add a alert ?

That’s a good idea! Maybe a visual indictor and sound. I’ll try to get that implemented in the next update. Thanks for feedback!

sensi very high

mobile or WASD? That’s on the UX list to adjust sensitivity for players in the option menu. I know nipple.js for mobile controls still needs adjustment. Thanks again for the feedback, I really appreciate it.
